JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Manages the development and implementation of all training initiatives necessary for the
  • Mortgage Line of Business including new hire onboarding programs, annual training and other training needs in support of organizational strategy and line of business goals
  • Designs, develops, and delivers training in product, technical, systems, sales, behavior, regulatory and skill-based training in a classroom or virtual environment by utilizing diverse delivery methods including instructor-led-training, virtual workshops, e-learning, and career pathing for the Mortgage Line of Business
  • Establishes appropriate training solutions (curriculum, e-learning courses, PowerPoint presentations, job aids) rooted in adult learning and instructional design principles in response to industry trends, regulatory updates, procedure alignment, servicing needs and product introduction
  • Develops and maintains a deep understanding of the Mortgage Line of Business while seeking opportunities to proactively solve needs, minimize pain points and effectively support the quality and consistency of associate deliverables to bank customers
  • Utilizes feedback and metrics to evaluate training program effectiveness, identify training gaps and initiate revisions to curriculum, design and delivery methods to ensure the quality and success of associates
  • Maintains working knowledge of retail banking and lending practices including bank products and services, processes, regulations, procedures and customer service standards
  • Collaborate with partners of Retail Training Team, Mortgage Line of Business, Subject Matter Experts (SME), Learning and Development and business line leaders on retail banking/ home lending and customer experience development needs
  • Facilitates interactive and engaging training sessions utilizing a variety of custom designed, off[1]the-shelf, and blended learning programs, as needed
  • Manages multiple projects at once with the ability to adhere to specific timelines
  • Approaches daily work with an open-mind, enthusiasm, and eagerness to support colleagues
  • Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management
  • concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



  • 4-6 years' experience in Banking, Learning & Development, or Education
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Bachelor's degree in education, communication, business, or a related field
  • Certification in Instructional Design or Curriculum development, preferred


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

A flexible work arrangement is available for this position. Candidate must live within the Park footprint. Some travel may be required monthly within Park National Bank footprint.

Physical Requirements:

This position must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time, constantly operates a computer, is in constant communication with customers and coworkers to discuss and observe account information in order to exchange accurate information.

SCHEDULE

Typical office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. This position is salary and exempt.
