Responsibilities

This position will work with the production planning team to complete the daily shipping schedules and ensure that all shipping paperwork is complete and accurate. This position contributes to the overall performance of the daily/weekly/monthly shipping metrics and on-time delivery.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Works under general supervision performing duties related to the preparation of paperwork associated with the shipment of castings and miscellaneous materials.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* The retrieval and preparation of shipping documentation.
* Prepare export documentation for foreign shipments.
* Prepare miscellaneous shippers for non-casting related materials.
* Coordinate pick-up and delivery of materials and castings.
* Perform other office duties as required, typing, filing etc.
* Working with production planning, sales, and quality to coordinate shipments.
* Actively communicate daily with team members.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* High Diploma required or GED equivalency required.
* This position requires a minimum of two years of experience as a Shipping Technician or a similar role.
* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
* This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* 1-3 years of manufacturing or production control.
