About the role: We are seeking a highly competent and adaptable Tax Manager to join GTBS, This role will be responsible for various global tax compliance and reporting matters. It is cross tax functional in its remit and is a growth role that can be made your own. This role requires strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate and the ability to take initiative and be a self-starter. What you'll do: * Support and coordinate various aspects of Pillar 2 implementation and compliance. This includes tracking legislative developments and coordinating with cross functional team as well as external advisors to ensure accuracy and compliance/reporting readiness. * Project manage reporting aspects of various tax planning projects. This includes partnering with cross functional stakeholders within tax (Federal, State, International, and Transfer Pricing colleagues) and across the organization (legal, accounting, treasury, etc.) on a variety of matters. * Ensure robust Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance for tax-related controls. Partner with internal risk colleagues and external auditors to ensure adequacy of control design, supporting documentation, testing, and remediation processes. * Champion implementation and compliance with public CbCR in EU and Australia. * Draft various technical memorandum to support various tax positions. Will include understanding of book treatment, local tax technical conclusions, and US GAAP and local statutory accounting considerations. * Lead and/or contribute to various special tax projects that require technical expertise and practical guidance. Includes identifying opportunities for automation, standardization and enhanced reporting * Coach and mentor a growing team and be a people centric tax manager. What you'll need: * Minimum a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Law, Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field). * Ireland specific: Tax qualification required. * US specific: CPA or master's degree preferred but not required. * Minimum of 5+ years of work experience in the corporate tax field in public accounting or a US multinational background. * Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion or similar ERP/ EPM * Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel/Office. * Familiarity with tax technology software is beneficial. #LI-TR3 #LI-Hybrid Who are we?
