Job Summary

In this key role, you will develop and manage production schedules, optimize resource utilization, and ensure on-time delivery by coordinating closely with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operations teams. The ideal candidate will leverage ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics to streamline workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and manage detailed production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and capacity requirements.
• Use MRP and ERP systems (SAP preferred) to plan materials procurement, production activities, and inventory control.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operations teams to coordinate production priorities and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Monitor production flow, identify delays or bottlenecks, and proactively adjust schedules to maintain on-time delivery.
• Analyze supply chain and production data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, improved lead times, and process optimization.
• Support plant leadership with capacity planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all production planning activities comply with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Prepare and present reports on production performance metrics, schedule adherence, and inventory trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of production planning, supply chain management, and operations management principles.
• Proficiency with SAP, ERP systems, MRP software, and data analytics tools.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Knowledge of quality control standards, plant operations, and lean manufacturing practices is preferred.
