East- Service Clerk-1st shift - Columbus, IN

Job Title: Service Clerk

Report to: Service Supervisor

Location: East Plant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Preparing/Printing labels for Service Work orders, preparing loads for shipments, various tasks such as analyzing data, compiling reports

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Responsible for 5S

* Enter Scrap

* File paperwork in cabinets then boxes, disregard after a year.

* Prepare all Customer Shipments on the Dock, working with Shipping Department to ensure all Paperwork and Skids have all the correct labels and Tags

* Mark product if there are any discrepancies or quality issues

* Assist any department Manager/ QA with ongoing projects, traceability measures, quality claims.

* Any other duties assigned by team leader, supervisor or manager

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES:

* Excellent verbal & written communications skills

* Self-starter

* Ability to multitask

* Organizational skills

* Previous office experience preferred

* Capable of learning various software

* High School Diploma

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Lifting & Carrying: Able to lift up to 30 lbs and move materials.

* Standing/Walking: Long periods of standing or walking.

* Manual Dexterity: Using tools like pallet jacks, and handling packages.

* Stamina: Endurance for extended physical activity.

* Vision: Clear vision for reading labels and inspecting items.

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in shipments and documentation.

* Organization: Managing inventory and shipping schedules.

* Problem-Solving: Addressing shipping or inventory issues.

* Time Management: Meeting tight deadlines.

* Communication: Clear interaction with team members and customers.
