PLATFORM MANGER, PROGRAM MANAGMENT

SOUTHFIELD, MI - WHQ or TUSCALOOSA, AL - PLANT

As a member of the Seating Division, the Platform Manger, Product Management will be responsible forleading cross functional teams and bringing new products to market.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

• Frontline interaction to customer with a goal to position Lear as the supplier of choice.
• Lead cross functional teams on execution from award to implementation, and throughout life cycle.
• Create and lead implementation strategies to ensure alignment required for all disciplines to cross functional teams.
• Assist in development and achieving identified roadmaps, business plans, and other key metrics aligned for the sustainability and profitability of the program.
• Identify and grow relationships with cross functional team members local and internationally to obtain required goals and objectives.
• Become subject matter experts on assigned products, markets, customer, and competitors

Your Qualifications:

• 7 years of relevant experience
• Industry Knowledge - Fundamental understanding of technology landscape and current trends
• Business Understanding - Ability to put technical and strategic questions in a business framework and vice versa
• Decision Making Skills - Ability to create decision frameworks and make strategically sound and justified recommendations
• Problem solving aptitude - Ability to tackle big and challenging questions
• People Skills - Ability to connect with individuals and create insight from those interactions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make presentations to all levels of management and executives
• Leadership - Ability to rally a team and lead towards new way of thinking and operating
• Creative - Ability to look beyond the obvious considerations and look at situations and challenges differently strategic mindset to think long term and with a synthesized view of complex technical and business considerations
• Confidence to take new and bold recommendations forward
