Job Title: Legal Researcher

Location(s): Atlanta, GA

Job Description:
We are seeking a Legal Researcher who will be responsible for supporting a variety of interesting projects as directed the Director of Business Operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Legal Researcher will provide support for the Operation Team with primary responsibilities with migrating contracts into a new repository, performing validation of conversion and indexing contract data.
  • Must have a strong analytical and communication skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to speak effectively and respond to common inquiries and exhibit a high degree of responsiveness, diplomacy, and professionalism.
  • A tolerance for uncertainty and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision and collaborate with other members of the team.
  • Migrate contracts from existing repository into a new Contract Mgmt tool and validation data elements.
Job Requirements:
  • Support all aspects of contract management, contract repositories, and client compliance requests.
  • Migrate existing agreements into new Contract Management Tool.
  • Perform indexing on contracts.
  • Validate contract conversion.
  • Coordinate & Manage Client related documents such as Power of Attorney, No- Disclosure Agreements, and Certificate of Insurance.
  • Collaborate with BOC support staff to design and deliver workflow in a shared services environment with a seamless customer support experience.
  • Provide backup coverage for BOC support staff on an as needed basis.
  • Input and review data in spreadsheets, databases, or other departmental systems in order to update content and generate various reports.
  • Generate and manage legal templates, prepares correspondence, assists in the creation of presentations.
  • Interact directly with business customers to address support needs.
  • Handle special assignments when assigned.
  • Develop research and analytical skills, as well as an understanding of case management techniques.
  • Obtain and develop knowledge of department's focus and corporate disciplines.
  • Use prescribed methods to identity and resolve straightforward issues.
  • Escalate more complex items to senior staff.
  • Perform any other duties assigned.
  • Ideally 1-2 years experience and an ability to learn with on the job training.
