Job Summary

The Testing Specialist is responsible for performing product inspection and testing activities to identify defects, failures, and performance issues. This role executes test plans and procedures, documents findings, and ensures products meet established design and quality standards. The Testing Specialist works independently on moderately complex assignments and supports technical teams by providing clear, accurate testing documentation and defect reporting.

Job Responsibilities




  • Execute test plans, test cases, reports, and defect logs to validate product functionality



  • Conduct HALT/HASS chamber testing and other environmental or stress-based test methods



  • Develop and update test procedures, plans, and documentation



  • Identify, record, and report defects and performance issues



  • Collaborate with project managers and technical staff to communicate test results and recommended actions



  • Apply established standards, principles, and practices to resolve moderately complex technical issues



  • Support continuous improvement of testing methods and best practices




Job Requirements




  • Secret clearance required (may start with clearance pending)



  • HALT/HASS testing experience



  • Experience with test procedure development



  • Ability to develop and execute test plans, cases, and reports effectively



  • High school diploma or equivalent



  • Minimum of 3 years of related testing experience



  • Knowledge of testing standards, concepts, and techniques




Education




  • High school diploma or equivalent required




Work Experience




  • At least 3 years of relevant testing or quality assurance experience

  • This position is based in Lynnwood, WA



  • Four-month assignment with potential for conversion to full-time employment
