2026 Digital Marketing Internship

Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Digital Marketing Intern!

About the Internship:

Symetra's Internship Program for Summer 2026 is entirely remote - all interns will learn and work in a virtual setting. The internship duration is 12 weeks.

Summary:
We're looking for a motivatedDigital Marketing Internshipto join Symetra's Digital Marketing team. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting large-scale marketing initiatives and day-to-day digital operations. This position is designed to provide support to a high-performing team, and give you meaningful exposure to how digital marketing strategy comes to life in a corporate environment. As an intern, you'll provide support through a mix of daily tasks, project assistance, and special assignments that allow you to learn the end-to-end process of digital marketing.

Responsibilities:

Depending on timing and project needs, you may:

• Assist withdigital audits, gather information, and organize findings.
• Supportwebsite content updates, social media and email activities, reporting -helping track down missing assets or details and even making the actual changes.
• Take onjunior-level tasksthat free up the team to focus on higher-priority initiatives.
• Contribute toproject management support-helping keep deliverables on track and organized.
• Work onsmaller digital projectsfrom start to finish, providing exposure to campaign or website lifecycle.
• Help identify and complete"wish list" taskson the team's backlog.

Requirements:

• Current student or recent graduate inMarketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or related field.
• Interest indigital marketing, websites, social, email, SEO, advertising or marketing technology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.

Employer work visa sponsorship and support are not provided for this role. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at hire and must maintain authorization to work in the United States throughout their employment with our company.
