You Belong Here.

At MultiCare, we strive to offer a true sense of belonging for all our employees. Across our health care network, you will find a dynamic range of meaningful careers, opportunities for growth, safe workplaces, and flexible schedules. We are connected by our mission - partnering and healing for a healthy future - and dedicated to the health and well-being of the communities we serve.

Auburn Medical Center primarily focuses on ICU, PCU, Med/Surg, ED, ortho, total joint replacements, neuro, and podiatry.Covington is a smaller community based hospital, that focuses on PCU, Med/Surg, elective Total Joints, Ortho, and Podiatric population. MultiCare utilizes EPIC for all electronic medical records. Our department productivity standard is currently 69% for 8-hour day with expectation of 7-9 patients seen per day, once up and running.

We are in need of an OT who can participate in our weekend rotation schedule, but who also has weekday availability for sick call and PTO coverage. All employees are expected to cross-cover both Auburn and Covington Medical Centers, so training occurs for both sites in the first month or two. Per diem staff are also expected to work a minimum of 1 holiday per year, and be able to complete mandatory education/training during non-shift hours, but on the clock.

Our New Employee Orientation process is very rigorous for the first few weeks to a month (and would likely require some time off from an alternate position), and certain aspects are mandatory with regard to schedule. Following the first 3-4 days, we are then able to schedule dates for departmental orientation and get staff up and running.
