Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Primarily a kitting position.
• Identifies and gathers all necessary materials for fabrication jobs.
• Utilizes inventory systems to identify, collect, and track processed assets.
• Works closely with outside departments to create inventory packages.
• Measure the dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
• Remove and replace dull cutting tools.
• Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Listen to machines during operation to detect sounds, such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration, and adjust the machines to compensate for these problems.
• Adjust the machine feed and speed, change cutting tools, or adjust machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or if the machine malfunctions.
• Stop machines to remove finished workpieces or to change tooling, setup, or workpiece placement, as needed by the machining sequences.
• Lift work pieces to machines manually, or with hoists or cranes.
• Modify cutting programs to account for problems encountered during operation and save the modified programs.
• Calculate machine speed and feed ratios, as well as the size and position of cuts.
• Insert control instructions into the machine control units to start operation.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in kitting, machining, or mechanical assembly
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, gauges).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with machine tools, adjustments, or basic machining operations
