Base Compensation: $18/ hour

This position supports Mesa's Gyros business. Gyros Protein Technologies provides automated systems for protein analysis and peptide synthesis solutions that accelerate the discovery, development, and manufacture of biotherapeutic drugs.

Job Summary

This role involves assembling Peptide Synthesizers and performing detailed Soldering while adhering to company SOPs and GMP. Candidates should possess basic computer skills and demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and good communication.

Duties/Responsibilities



  • Assemble Mechanical components and main assemblies. (MUST HAVE SOLDERING EXPERIENCE)
  • Interpret assembly drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by following safety requirements.
  • Perform ERP computer processing, to included Data Entry and completing/closing work orders in our system.
  • Diligently follow work instructions to ensure product specs, tolerances and quality levels are met.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality goals.
  • Visually inspect raw materials and assemblies.
  • Use hand tools, computers, and other equipment to manufacture the products.


Experience/Education



  • 2+ year years of direct Mechanical Assembly & Soldering experience.
  • High School diploma or its equivalent.


Knowledge & Skillsets Require



  • Must have GOOD job tenure.
  • Must be proficient in the use of ERP for Data Entry and completing/closing work orders.
  • Ability to multi-task, sit or stand for long periods of time, operate small hand tools, and lift up to 40 pounds frequently.
  • Be available to work overtime as needed to meet production schedules.
  • Be able to handle small fasteners and components.
  • Basic Computer skills.
  • Must observe and adhere to all safety requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, document and report defects to engineering.
  • High attention to detail.
