Technical Alliance Engineer

We have an opportunity for a Technical Alliance Engineer to join our Product and Strategy, based anywhere in the US, reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Strategy. In this pivotal role, you will help shape and scale Infoblox's portfolio of technical integrations, competencies, and joint solutions with Hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and key ISV partners across networking and security. You'll be the technical engine behind technical alliances-prototyping quickly, validating with Product and Engineering, and enabling field teams and partners with rock-solid architectures, reference code, and repeatable playbooks.

Be a Contributor - What You'll Do

  • Support technical alliances and integrations end-to-end with AWS, Azure, GCP, and strategic ISVs-from use cases discovery and scoping through design, build, validation, and launch
  • Balanced technical depth and business acumen: Translate customer/partner needs into sound architectures and measurable outcomes, and clearly communicate trade-offs to both engineers and executives
  • Prototype rapidly: build PoCs, reference architectures, and sample code to prove value and accelerate partner buy-in
  • Co-develop joint solutions aligned to AI, cloud, networking, and security use cases
  • Integrate cloud-native signals & services (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Microsoft Sentinel, Google Chronicle) into Infoblox platforms and partner stacks
  • Publish partner enablement assets: solution briefs, reference guides, Terraform/CloudFormation/Bicep examples, SDK snippets, and demo environments
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Product Management, Engineering, TME, Product Marketing, and Sales, present solutions to customers and channel partners
  • Influence partner roadmaps: secure early visibility and prioritize integrations that deliver mutual GTM impact
  • Measure and iterate: define success metrics (adoption, usage, win-rate impact), collect feedback, and continuously harden integrations

Be Prepared - What You Bring

  • 5-7 years across cloud, networking, and cybersecurity with a track record of shipping partner integrations and joint solutions.
  • Strong hands-on depth with AWS, Azure, and GCP services (identity, logging, messaging, storage, serverless, Kubernetes) and at least one IaC tool (Terraform preferred)
  • Scripting/Software: Python/Go/TypeScript for APIs, webhooks, CLIs, and automation; familiarity with event-driven design and async patterns
  • Experience integrating with security platforms (SIEM/SOAR/EDR/NAC/NGFW/ITSM)
  • AI/LLM practical experience: Hands-on building agent workflows with Amazon Bedrock / Agents or Azure OpenAI or GCP Vertex AI; retrieval (RAG), prompt/Eval pipelines, tools/functions, structured outputs, and guardrails
  • Ability to translate market and customer needs into crisp technical use cases and business cases; comfort presenting to senior technical and business stakeholders
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Nice to have: certifications in either AWS Solutions Architect / Security, Azure Solutions Architect / Security, Google Professional Cloud Architect, CKA, CISSP, CCNP
  • Nice to have: experience with Cloud architecture best practices, data privacy/compliance considerations in AI and security data flows
  • Nice to have: familiarity with DDI/IPAM, Protective DNS, and Zero-Trust architectures

Be Successful - Your Path

First 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors, and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work. Discuss and create short/long term goals.

Six Months: Deliver 2-3 priority integrations with AWS, Azure, GCP or key ISVs, with reference architectures, IaC examples, and core enablement published. Stand up KPIs and a feedback loop to iterate and shorten cycles.

One Year: Deliver 2-3 joint solutions with standardized toolkits and demos. Demonstrate measurable impact (adoption, attach, win rate) and secure co-sell/marketplace presence with strategic partners.

Belong- Your Community

Our culture thrives on inclusion, rewarding the bold ideas, curiosity, and creativity that move us forward. In a community where every voice counts, continuous learning is the norm. So, whether you code, create, sell, or care for customers, you'll grow and belong here.
