Department Summary The College of Health and Public Service (HPS) at the University of North Texas prepares graduates to address diverse and complex social issues such as aging, disability, disaster management and recovery, criminal justice, health disparities and public safety, and find solutions to challenges in public administration, public health, exercise physiology and urban design. Position Overview The Department of Behavior Analysis at the University of North Texas invites applications for a non-tenure-track, full-time, on-campus Lecturer position. The position will primarily carry teaching responsibilities in the online Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis program and will also fulfill additional teaching responsibilities in other departmental degree programs as needed. Primary responsibilities in the online program offer exciting possibilities for instructional design innovation as it relates to clinical and educational practice in applied behavior analysis. This is a 9-month appointment with the opportunity for summer teaching. The current appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal after the probationary period has ended. Minimum Qualifications * Doctoral degree in Behavior Analysis or a related discipline from an accredited institution; Candidates who are ABD will be considered, but the position requires completion of all doctoral requirements by Aug. 31, 2026. Preferred Qualifications 1. Demonstrated working knowledge of current pedagogical and instructional technologies that are adaptive to student needs; Required License/Registration/Certifications Work Schedule varies based on assignment Driving University Vehicle No Security Sensitive This is a Security Sensitive Position.
