Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Staff Specialist to provide operational and project support across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract management, financial tracking, and coordinating cross-functional projects, with a strong interest in improving operational efficiency. This role offers opportunities to work closely with project and operations managers, support multi-disciplinary teams, and contribute to process improvements that enhance project performance and company success.

Key Responsibilities



  • Provide operational support, ensuring smooth coordination across projects and groups.





  • Launch and manage a multidisciplinary design schedule, ensuring alignment of priorities and effective coordination across crossfunctional teams.





  • Serve as project controller on designated projects, tracking, monitoring, and reporting project budgets.





  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to project performance, financial tracking, and operational processes.





  • Assist operations and project managers with daytoday activities, offering guidance and support to enhance efficiency.





  • Identify and implement process improvements across operations and project management functions, recommending solutions that enhance efficiency, strengthen financial and performance reporting, and support the company's longterm success.





  • Support crossfunctional communication by facilitating information flow between teams.





  • Work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously using strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.



Qualifications



  • At least five years of relevant experience in contract management and financial tracking





  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office





  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary technical team





  • Experience with BST or other project-based accounting software is preferred but not required.



Kennedy Jenks supports a healthy work-life balance and utilizes a hybrid model of home and office work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office. This approach empowers our people to thrive, collaborate, and achieve their full potential.

Salary range for this position is anticipated to be $85,000 to $95,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, and geographic location.
