Patient Registration Associate (Part-Time) Location: Salem, IN Shift: Saturdays & Sundays, 3 PM - 11 PM What You'll Do You'll be the first friendly face patients see when they arrive at the hospital. Your role is all about making check-in smooth and stress-free. While the environment can be fast-paced, you'll be the person patients rely on for answers and reassurance. * Guide patients through registration: Collect accurate information quickly while listening with compassion. * Work with technology: Use multiple computer systems and answer phones to keep the process moving. You'll often switch between screens and programs, so being comfortable with tech and typing fast is key. * Support patients in stressful moments: Many patients may feel anxious or unwell. Your ability to listen, ask questions, and ease concerns will make a big difference. * Stay adaptable: Emergencies happen, and clinicians may interrupt registration for urgent care. You'll need to think on your feet and keep things moving. * Be part of a supportive team: We care about your growth and career goals. What It Takes to Succeed * Tech-savvy multitasker: Comfortable with computers, typing, and juggling multiple systems. * Strong communicator: Professional, courteous, and empathetic. * Adaptable and dependable: Ready for a fast-paced environment and unexpected situations. * No healthcare experience required: We'll provide training. Just be prepared to work in a hospital setting where you may see illness or injuries. Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
