Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in Duluth, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a strong visible presence. You will interact with staff and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist employees, visitors, and/or clients with directions and information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to support a secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
