Security Officer - Mall Driving Patrol

As a Security Officer - Mall Driving Patrol in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and high visibility at a busy retail location. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while monitoring the environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the retail environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activities, maintaining accurate documentation for incidents.
• Assist store staff and visitors with security-related inquiries and directions, promoting a welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required, following established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
