Armed Security Officer - Morning Patrols

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrols in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. This is an armed and driving post, where you will engage with the public, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities as required.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and site personnel when necessary to address security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disturbances and promote a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
