Job Title: Machinist Location: Glendale, AZ 85307 Duration: 6 Months Payrate: $22.10/hr. on w2 with full benefits Shift Timing: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3 PM - 11 PM (Training on 1st shift for first few weeks) Pre-Screen Questions: Describe your experience with manual lathes/mills. Explain your part setup process. How do you choose speeds/feeds? Which inspection tools do you use? Position Summary: Seeking a Machinist to operate production machinery and produce quality aerospace components using blueprints and work instructions. Role & Responsibilities: Perform machining operations: cutting, drilling, forming, reaming, deburring. Set feeds, speeds, and depth of cut. Make minor adjustments and report machine issues. Inspect parts using measuring tools; remove burrs and defects. Follow safety and SPC requirements. Required Qualifications: HS diploma or GED. 1-3 years machine shop experience. Ability to read blueprints; basic shop math. Manual dexterity and strong communication skills.
