As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail mall location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. You will interact with visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting patrons and/or employees as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a welcoming environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by the location.
• Support the enforcement of property rules and regulations to help to deter unauthorized access or activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
