Security Guard - Industrial Patrol

As a Security Guard - Industrial Patrol in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide an engaging presence. Your routine patrols and visible presence will contribute to a secure environment, while delivering excellent customer service and communication. This position requires a valid driver's license and may include driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter, observing for any irregularities and reporting as needed.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity on the premises through visible presence and attentive patrols.
• Monitor access points and help to verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the facility.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Support emergency response protocols specific to manufacturing and industrial environments, including assisting with evacuations or other urgent actions as directed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide information and assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
