Engineering Change Management Process, Methods and Tools Specialist

The Engineering Change Management (ECM) Process, Methods and Tools Specialist is part of a Business Owning team responsible for the Stellantis North America Engineering Change Management (WebCN, CCD, C2PC) Systems. This team owns all the Engineering Change Management data and works closely with Information Communications Technology (ICT) Change Management System developers to fix system issues, launch system upgrades, define and launch system enhancements. As a ECM Business Owner you are responsible to develop new processes and methods and then translate those processes and methods into system changes by developing process flows, creating business requirements, developing financial benefits for project funding approval, defining use case scenarios, creating screen mockups/proof of concept for user interface, defining project planning and timing, defining test case needs for user acceptable testing (UAT), conducting UAT, creating the training materials, training the users, monitoring and resolving open issues post launch.

The ECM, Process Methods and Tools Specialist is a subject matter expert of the Stellantis N.A. Engineering Change Management systems and is responsible to provide technical guidance to the Operational Teams on unique and infrequent complex situations. This position requires a high level of communication and leadership competency.

Using expertise in the Engineering Change Management, the selected candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Troubleshooting Operational issues
  • Educating global users on Engineering Change Management processes, methods and systems
  • Improving the systems through benchmarking and the study of current practices
  • Working closely with industrial function and ICT partners to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Participating in business requirements gathering sessions, documenting requirements, and supporting development work with our ICT partners
  • Monitoring and testing IT solutions before implementation to ensure requirements are met
  • Assisting with project communication
  • Writing and maintaining user documentation; and serve as a point of contact for Engineering Change Management global process issues.
  • Writing and maintaining training documentation for Engineering Change Management Systems.


A successful candidate is a self-starter with a passion for innovation; comfortable working in a global setting; experienced in documenting business & system requirements; and able to lead a cross-functional team toward a common solution.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor of Science or Technology degree (preferred in Engineering )
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Engineering or Information Communication Technology
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to present ideas and concepts successfully to all levels of management
  • Ability to productively manage change
  • Process Flow Chart, RASIC, SIPOC and Process Documentation creation
  • Tool Experience (such as): MS 365/Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint, Qlik Suite, etc.
  • Engineering Process Experience (such as): Engineering Change Management
  • Clear, concise, accurate communication skills both verbal and written in the English language
  • Ability to communicate and present to all levels of Management
  • Ability to lead peers and suppliers to achieve goals.
  • Must work during USA Eastern Standard and Daylight Savings Time business hours
  • Good internet and phone services to effectively work remotely from home or office location


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Aptitude for understanding IT system design, data structures, and data security
  • Understanding or experience using Dassault 3DExperinence
  • Understanding or experience using Siemens Teamcenter X
