About the Opportunity:
In this role, you'll help manage and organize important program information, including software, hardware, and contract-related documentation, making sure everything is accurate, up to date, and meets government and industry standards. You'll be responsible for keeping all official program records in order-ranging from internal documents and databases to vendor materials and technical publications used by the Air Force.
Your work will play a key role in ensuring that all program materials are properly controlled, easy to access, and compliant with required guidelines.

What You'll Do:
- Manage and track all program software, hardware, and documentation to ensure everything is accurate, organized, and easy to retrieve.
- Maintain data and reporting to support contract deliverables, including tracking performance and supplier contributions.
- Prepare, edit, and format technical documents and summaries to support program reporting and required submissions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and government partners to resolve data issues and keep information aligned across the program.
- Support audits, system updates, and configuration changes by maintaining records, tracking progress, and ensuring data integrity and recovery.

What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline (will consider a candidate without the technical Bachelor's degree with several years of related experience, but a Bachelor's degree is still reqd)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience submitting technical documents, manuals, publications and reports related to government contracts
- Minimum of 2 years of experience of related configuration and data management experience
What Sets You Apart:
- Eight years of experience in a related field in lieu of bachelor's degree in computer science
- Knowledge of military configuration management requirements, SEI Capability Maturity Model Integrated, MIL-HDBK-61B, EIA-649-C Configuration Management Standards, and EIA-649-1 Configuration Management Requirements for Defense Contractors preferred
- Understanding of technical principles, theories and concepts, including the interrelated disciplines of Configuration Management and Change Management.
- Familiarity with military and industry configuration management standards (SCM and DM)
- Working knowledge of Apache Subversion configuration management software
- Ability to build, package, deploy and create backup software load releases and media artifacts to Engineering and Maintenance test and production environments.
- Ability to develop software scripts for Windows/Unix environments such as Unix Shell Script Linux, MS Visual Basic, MS Visual C++
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
- Familiarity with cybersecurity protection and application
- Familiarity with the Aircrew Training simulator systems Demonstrated experience and ability to develop software and data management documentation, instructions, and presentations
- Proficient in planning, forecasting, and meeting multiple, changing deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to implement CM/DM library processes and procedures on multiple programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access and Visio.
- Ability to organize and maintain CM/DM structures
- Understanding of military protocols and customs

- Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible schedule to include weekends, evening, and overtime as required
