Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative and operational support with secondary support for the extended leadership team.

  • Responsible for calendaring, scheduling cross-functional, multi-person and multi-time zone meetings and being the point person for scheduling availability

  • Organizes domestic and international travel arrangements for VPGM and DO

  • Prepares and processes expense reports, may review expense reports submitted to the department by direct reports team members

  • Prepares and submits specials within TMS (Transportation Management System). These are time sensitive and will require an evaluation against courier contracts to determine approval vs not approved.

  • Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature

  • Coordinates activities between departments and outside parties

  • Contacts company associates at all levels to gather information and prepare reports

  • Meeting organization and preparation, collecting and collating support material from internal stakeholders and preparing for meetings as well as providing catering requirements

  • Prepares PowerPoint presentation materials

  • Makes high level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company

  • Manages special projects on behalf of the department

  • Strong, professional inter-personal skills that always represents our company, the team in strongest manner possible

  • Must have a strong team orientation, and willing to support and assist others within the office regardless of title or grade level. Goes the extra mile

  • General office administration, including but not limited to receiving guests from reception as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
Typically requires 1+ years of related experience

Education
HS Diploma, Vocational Training or Equivalent

Critical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Ability to anticipate activities and take proactive action with little or no direction

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks with demanding or competing deadlines

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills

  • The ability to use automated office equipment, follow difficult instructions, and maintain written records

  • Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills

  • Uses discretion and maintains high-level of confidentiality

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Possess a strong understanding of office procedures and practices

  • Must be able to multi-task while remaining flexible, with attention to detail and have the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Must possess strong organizational skills for the efficient and successful handling and management of multiple projects

  • Ability to assess circumstances and problem solve with minimal supervision, exercising common sense and diplomacy

  • Proficient in written communications including clear and concise writing, editing for spelling and grammar, and an ability to interpret information

  • Speaks clearly and eloquently, representing the office in a professional manner

  • Must be dependable, timely, have a positive attitude, and a team work ethic

  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to compose professional correspondence

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $18.93 - $31.55
