Title: Project Manager

Duration: 12 Months Contract + Possibility of Extension/FTE

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Rate: $52.41 - $60.68 hourly

THE ROLE:

As the Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to manage End-to-End ownership of overall solutions for innovativeproducts. Solid program management of various software development teams, monitoring the quality of the resulting software deliverables and a strong partnership with the customer support teams are the key focus area of this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for leading program level BIOS deliverables and related dependencies, ensuring firmware commitment delivery on schedule from emulation through end of life.
• Advocate strong process discipline for firmware release sampling, silicon release sampling, firmware issue tracking and operational firmware processes.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in areas of datacenter system design, software development, and validation
• Experience in the computing industry, at the OEM, ODM, or technology provider level.
• PMP certification a plus, but not required
• BIOS and UEFI knowledge a plus, but not required

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

-Bachelor's degree (or higher) in electrical, computer engineering, or computer science strongly preferred

-Project management experience in a manufacturing test environment

-Skilled in MS Office & MS Project tool suites, Confluence, MS SharePoint
