Career growth and development Diverse and collaborative working environment Affordable and comprehensive benefits package, including Paid Time Off The Spanish Bilingual Admissions and Registration Coordinator (ARC) will handle administrative (non-clinical) aspects of the patient encounter, achieving an ideal patient experience, while collecting and maintaining accurate insurance information on each patient record. The role is responsible for executing activities including registrations, scheduling, time-of-service collections, and obtaining authorizations, and providing same-day admission notification to payers. You'll offer friendly, courteous assistance to patients, provide support to the clinical care team, and exhibit a positive and professional demeanor at all times. There are 5 compulsory, one-day training sessions over two weeks' time. Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital 1800 Orleans St., Baltimore, MD Qualifications: Candidates must successfully pass the required JHM-approved Spanish language assessment prior to a job offer. HS Diploma or GED One year of relevant experience Requires proficiency in the use of a multi-line telephone and, nursing call bell. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
