*Description*
Provide technical and analytical functions related to data maintenance of the primary source of institutional practitioner data. Ensure the integrity of data and information kept in the provider number database. The project will involve verifying and updating provider information across IDX, ePREP, and the hospitals roster systems to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timely processing of claims. Perform payor credentialing functions for applicable providers via electronic methods. Initiate payor enrollment applications via online sources. Contact providers for online approval of payor enrollment forms. Track provider numbers generated by third party managed care companies and enter into Echo credentialing software. Manage login/passwords for NPI and PECOS systems for all providers. Track Medicare & Medicaid revalidation status. Ensure compliance with all Federal provider enrollment programs. *Skills* payer credentialing, medicaid, enrollment *Top Skills Details* payer credentialing,medicaid,enrollment *Additional Skills & Qualifications* 2+ years working for a payor in credentialing role working with EPREP Maryland Medicaid system, IDX exp. Excel experience to be able to work on the provider delegated roster. High School / GED *Experience Level* Entry Level *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
