Irasburg Transport Driver

Utilizing DFA tractor and trailer, to transport raw milk from depot to processing plant

• Operates a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practices
• Following dispatch schedule and directions from dispatch and location supervisory personnel, travels to location to transport raw milk
• Takes measures to minimize truck idle times and conserve fuel consumption
• Verify proper documentation (Load number/Seal numbers/etc.) to validate load delivery and destination.
• Disassemble, clean, and re-assemble trailer pumps to maintain proper cleanliness at a food grade level.
• Always represents DFA positively and professionally during interactions with customers, or regulatory personnel
• This is a full-time position

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent Preferred
• Must have a current CDL (Class A) in state of residence
• Must have, or be able to obtain, a tanker endorsement
• Minimum of 1-year verifiable CDL driving experience (military experience does count towards this requirement)
• In lieu of 1-year verifiable driving experience, driver applicants may have successfully graduated from a FMCSA Entry-Level Driver Training certified driving school
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must meet all DOT requirements
