Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The PT Coordinator I, Student Services Support will be responsible for providing detailed and task-oriented support to the Dean, Student Services. Individual will perform standard administrative work and ensure daily operations within student services are running efficiently. Individual will assist Dean, Student Services with enrollment campaigns, analyzing student accounts, handle sensitive and confidential records.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Utilizes MS Office and other programs to enter, track and maintain data including documents, spreadsheets and databases as it pertains to student records
  2. Reviews and summarizes student population campaign data and communicates results to leadership
  3. Assists with planning and coordinating student services campus events (Open House, Super Saturday, and other enrollment events, etc.)
  4. Attends meetings, committees and events. May compile meeting minutes and disseminate information to employees as needed
  5. Assist students as needed, including but not limited to processing documents and/or correspondence, answering general questions and troubleshooting minor student account issues
  6. May assist with administrative tasks for projects and notify employees within student success division of meeting necessary deadlines
  7. Performs and/or assists with clerical work as needed, which may include but is not limited to; coordinating various department and management calendars and schedules; assisting with planning, schedules and coordinating various meetings/seminars/events, including site selection and preparation, marketing and training materials, monitoring and controlling resources, and other general support
  8. Takes part in special projects as needed
  9. Responsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

WORK SCHEDULE & CONDITIONS:

  • Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment
  • Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
  • Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Associate degree and at least 1 year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Salary

Hourly Pay Rate is $17.58
