Responsibilities

Join Our Team as the Senior Director of Clinical Outreach!

Remote: Must live in one of the states listed UT, WA, OR, AZ or CO.

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for making a difference in the behavioral health community? Newport Healthcare is seeking a Senior Director of Clinical Outreach (SDCO) to spearhead a high-performing team. Here's what you'll do:

  • Lead & Develop: Coach and mentor a team of Clinical Outreach Coordinators, Directors, and Regional Directors to ensure top performance.
  • Drive Strategy: Create and implement marketing and business development plans to attract and service clients in need of our exceptional treatment services.
  • Build Relationships: Serve as the key liaison between leadership and referral partners, negotiating contracts and cultivating strategic partnerships.
  • Present & Promote: Develop customized presentations and conduct meetings to raise awareness of Newport Healthcare's services.
  • Identify Opportunities: Establish relationships within the behavioral healthcare community and stay current on industry trends and regulations.
  • Conduct Field Sessions: Drive performance and enhance skills through quarterly field sessions with your team members.
  • Trust-Building: Complete face-to-face meetings with decision-makers to understand their needs and secure ongoing partnerships.
  • Collaborate: Work alongside operations, clinical, and admissions leadership to improve access to and delivery of care.
  • Manage Administration: Ensure timely completion of administrative duties, including managing team budgets and performance documentation.
  • Participate in Projects: Engage in business development team meetings and contribute to assigned projects to meet monthly goals.
  • Assist with Assessments: Support client assessments if you hold a current up-to-date license (note: you will not have the authority to clear clients for admission).
  • Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, social services, or education required.

Master's degree in business, social services, or education preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years' experience driving business results in a healthcare position preferred; experience in behavioral health preferred.

Proven ability to build relationships, lead, manage, and drive business results through others required.
