*Job Description* We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused *Customer Service Representative* to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to customers, processing orders, and ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with company and insurance guidelines.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Respond promptly to incoming calls and emails, delivering excellent customer service in alignment with performance goals. * Accurately document all call details and interactions following standard operating procedures. * Provide clear and professional answers to inquiries regarding products, services, retail locations, and general service information. * Process customer orders, route calls to appropriate departments, and follow up as needed to ensure resolution. * Review and verify all documentation for accuracy and completeness. * Perform insurance verification to confirm patient eligibility, coverage, co-insurance, and deductibles. * Obtain pre-authorizations when required and submit physician orders to insurance carriers for approval. * Navigate multiple EMR systems to retrieve and update necessary documentation. * Enter and maintain accurate information in EMR systems, including authorizations and expiration dates. * Communicate trends or issues with insurance carriers to Customer Service and Management teams. * Verify insurance carriers in the company database and request additions when necessary. * Contact patients when documentation does not meet payer guidelines, providing updates and alternative options to facilitate the referral process. *Required Skills & Qualifications* * *Must Have:* * *1+ years of call center experience* * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * *Preferred:* * *Experience in healthcare or medical terminology* * Familiarity with insurance verification and EMR systems * Experience in nursing homes or CNA experience *Top Skills* Customer Service | Call Center | Healthcare | Insurance Verification | Medical Equipment | EMR Systems *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
