Position Summary

The Reception Concierge is responsible for daily coordination of the patient and clinic activities in the lobby of the urgent care. This includes greeting and registering patients, maintain lobby cleanliness and brand elements, executing opening and closing procedures related to front office activities, and collecting appropriate monies from patients. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring an exceptional patient experience at the beginning and close of patient visits, as well as providing excellent customer service over the telephone. In addition, the Reception Concierge works closely with Clinical Concierge colleagues to ensure ongoing communication throughout the patient visit for optimal patient flow.

Work situations are a variety of functions within a clinic setting requiring knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data; discretion; good judgment; diplomacy; decision making; and a customer service attitude. Clinic environment includes walk-in and appointment based care, with a wide variety in patient registration volumes throughout the shift. This position requires a highly collaborative approach to patient services, including coordination with other system urgent care centers, shifts ranging from 6-12 hours.

Requirements

  • AA/AS degree preferred, or on-the-job related experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a health-related field, preferred
  • Ability to travel to other clinics regionally
  • Current BLS Certification required

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.07 - $28.87 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
