MUST:
Active DoD Top-Secret clearance
Experienced Senior Acquisition SME
15+ years of acquisition and program management experience
Strong understanding of DoD acquisitions process, statutory requirements and Adaptive acquisitions framework
Experience advising Sr Military leadership, Flag officers, and SES level
Solid knowledge of Title 10, DoD 5000-series policies
Experience execution work including non-traditional Acquisitions Authority, policy and strategic acquisitions
Proficient in MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Points
Understanding the full Lifecycle process of proposal
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills able to communicate clearly with Sr leadership
High level on integrity and discretion
Strong organizational skills
Highly analytical with good problem-solving skills
Current DAWIA certification in Program Management, Contracting, or Engineering is preferred
Bachelor's Degree
DUTIES:
Ideal candidate will work as a high-level Acquisition SME providing insight and guidance to Sr Leadership inside the Department of War offices
This candidate will serve as a recognized Authority on DoW Acquisition policy, processes and lifecycle management
Develop and refine acquisition strategies, acquisition pathways, program documentation, and governance materials for major programs under Clients department
Analyze and interpret requirements from Title 10, DoD 5000-series policies, middle-tier acquisition (MTA), software acquisition pathway (SWP), and adaptive acquisition framework (AAF) to guide program offices and leadership
Help ensure the enforcement of overall strategy and agreed process
Draft white papers, policy recommendations, decision memoranda (DMs), and senior leader briefing materials to support for client
Evaluation current criteria & Strategy
Help to ensure the alignment across enterprise acquisition activities in the department and participate in meetings and cross-function working groups within the department (including Joint Staff and Stakeholders)
