DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administration and Management Trainee, you will actively participate in a 12-month training program where you will assist higher level human resource professionals with recruitment and talent acquisition related services. You will gain an understanding of client agency programs and operations in order to evaluate and identify their recruitment efforts and talent acquisition needs. Work involves compiling specialized recruitment plans, participating in on-site job fairs, maintaining vacancy status reports, and assisting the administration of the agency's internship program. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with hiring managers and talent acquisition analysts to determine recruiting plans and recommendations for hard to fill positions. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Mechanicsburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree, including 15 credits in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 15 credits in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
