Secret POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
The Gardener Lead, under direction of the Project Manager, will provide support for the daily grounds' maintenance operations of the Transportation Safeguards Training Site at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas. Mow, weed-eat, transplant trees and shrubs, weed flower beds, edge landscaped areas, prune trees and bushes. Additional tasks will include receiving and evaluating work orders and requests, investigating requests or problems where appropriate, establishing priorities and assigning personnel to make necessary corrections. Kill or control weeds, insects that are considered troublesome or harmful to agricultural, industrial or domestic activities. This position will oversee and perform minor preventative maintenance and repair of equipment. Assign, inspect and monitor the work of subordinates. Keep the Project Manager informed of unique situations and problems encountered. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
