Your Team, Your Impact

As a Senior Staff Engineer in Hardware and Silicon Validation at Marvell, you will play a critical role in delivering next-generation high-speed connectivity solutions. Our team ensures the integrity and performance of advanced PCIe and Ethernet technologies through rigorous functional validation, enabling products that power global innovation for both internal and external customers.

What You Can Expect

  • Develop silicon validation plan based on product design specifications and industrystandards.
  • Conduct post silicon system bring up, function validations, interop and performance study.
  • Implement test automation script for DUT and test equipment including traffic generator, PCIe protocol exerciser and analyzer, oscilloscope, temperature chamber, etc.
  • Work with cross functional teams to identify root cause and resolve issues found during post silicon validation.
  • Deliver customer friendly validation report with descriptions on test set-up, test procedures and test result.
  • Support and resolve customer reported issues.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering and 8+ 5-10years of related professional experience; Or Master's degree in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering with 6+ 3-5 years of experience.
  • Good understanding of PCIe specification in physical layer, data link layer and transaction layer.
  • Strong working experience with PCIe Gen6 system level silicon bring up and validation, and protocol compliance validation.
  • Experience with PCIe re-timer validation is a plus.
  • Working experience with Linux and Windows OS and cross platform compatibility.
  • Knowledge of Electrical engineering, Ethernet protocol, and DSP is a plus.
  • Must be willing to work in a multi-tasking, fast pacing, team-oriented working environment.
  • Must have strong C/C++ and Python program skills.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

121,400 - 181,800, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
