Position Summary

The Trauma Program Coordinator provides facilitation and direction for a multidisciplinary trauma service for an assigned Trauma Center. The incumbent works with the Program Director for Trauma Services implements and monitors systems to enhance care of trauma patients receiving services; serves as a resource for inter-intra disciplinary team members and patient families that participate in the care of trauma patients; develops and applies standards and research to enhance quality of patient care; implements and evaluates performance improvement; develops effective working relationships with all system providers and management; supervises assigned staff and participates in the development and monitoring of the assigned budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (requied)/Master degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL)
  • BLS BLS - Basic Life Support (includes RQI) - American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or Emergency Nursing Pediatrics Course (ENPC) certification
  • Specialty Certification in one or more of the following: Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN), Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), or a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years of professional/technical nursing experience required; preferably in an emergency or critical care nursing unit, with at least six months experience in trauma nursing
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $135,637.00 - $191,214.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
