Position Summary

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for performing staffing functions, assuring adequate staffing levels are maintained in the Inpatient Units, Emergency Department and ancillary departments on all shifts daily, and for tracking and maintaining credentials and departmental data associated with staffing. This clerical position works under limited supervision and requires strong organizational and planning skills, decision making within the scope of the position's responsibilities, and the use of discretion and good judgment. Decisions beyond the scope of responsibilities require the review and approval of the appropriate Clinical Director. Internal contacts are basically with Department Managers and Supervisors (or House Supervisors, for Nursing units) but may include routine interaction with patient care staff and management throughout the organization. External contacts are limited but may include agency personnel.

Requirements


  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year of secretarial/staffing experience preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in the use computer software applications preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $22.97 - $33.05 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
