What to Expect

The Sr. Analyst, Global Megapack Operations will be primarily responsible for driving global standardization of Megapack operational data, synthesizing global reporting, and helping to create and track global metrics and KPIs for the business.

A great Sr. Analyst will not only demonstrate superior analytical capabilities, but also clearly communicate with all applicable stakeholders, building relationships across the organization to ensure effectiveness in role. You will work independently and autonomously, and manage the delicate balance between scope, schedule, and resourcing.

As a key member of the Megapack Operations team, you will be required to wear many hats and adapt to a fast-paced work environment. What You'll Do
  • Develop, maintain, and improve key executive dashboards and global key performance indicators that ultimately drives optimal business and financial success
  • Establish and maintain Energy reporting standards, terminology, formats, and best practices, drive data alignment across global regions. Collaborate closely with regional analysts and stakeholders to ensure alignment between regional and global data
  • Partner with IT Data Architects, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence team to ensure data integrity and correct data mapping across various Tesla systems
  • Synthesize executive reports and insight for both executive and working-level audiences. Lead all business analytics that are global in nature
  • Translate data analytics business process needs into IT and process requirements, applies six sigma or lean methodology to refine analytics-related process and infrastructure
  • Act as a conduit across cross-functional regional teams, present data insight for teams to identify the most pressing business issues and facilitate productive business discussion

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Analytics, or other related degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimal 5 years of SQL, PYTHON, Tableau, advanced MSExcel modeling
  • Minimal 5 years performing business analytics
  • In-depth knowledge in Statics and process improvement
  • Experience in preparing executive reports and communications, excellent written, visual, and verbal communications skills
  • Prior experience with extremely fast-paced organizations is a must
  • Ability to work effectively and build relationships with global cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with requirements gathering, information architecture, visual design, copywriting, functional specifications, technical specifications, test cases, test execution, and release management
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set and ability to autonomously drive progress in an ambiguous environment with frequently shifting priorities

    Expected Compensation
    $108,000 - $162,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
