Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time (0.75 FTE) Registered Nursefor our Admission/Referral Coordination Center (ARCC). This is your opportunity to work among a team of highly experienced RNs while doing the work you love in the beautiful Coulee regionof La Crosse, Wisconsin.

What you will do:

  • Fulfill 60 hours per two weeks; 0.75 FTE

  • This 12-hour position is a day/night rotation (6:30 am - 6:30 pm & 6:30 pm - 6:30 am). Two weekends per six-week schedule; two holidays per year. Opportunity to pick up extra shifts, if desired.

  • Work from the GHS Regional Operations and Communication Center (235 Causeway Boulevard, La Crosse, WI), where parking is conveniently located right outside of the office for staff

  • This is a "behind-the-scenes" office-based positionwithout direct patient contact. ARCC RNs facilitate communication between clinicians, RNs, Hospital Operations Managers, medicaldispatch, and external facilities to coordinate admissions, referrals, and transfers while working to ensure appropriate and efficientpatient placement

What you need:

  • Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing

  • RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire

  • At least 3-5 years of nursing experience, preferrable in an inpatient setting, is desired for this role

  • Strong technical skills, the ability to multi-task and navigate multiple applications concurrently, along with exceptional communication skills are essential for this role
