Manages all Operating Room (OR) service line activities involved in the effective, efficient and economical utilization of material resources and personnel of the delegated service line. Ensures patient service is continuous and of a high quality. Works collaboratively with physicians, surgical services leadership and staff, materials management, and other ancillary departments. Oversees staff of delegated service line and reports to the Director of Peri-Operative Services.I. Major Responsibilities: 1. Promotes increased case volume through provision of a highly effective service line intraoperative program, development of positive relations with surgeons within responsible area, and implementation of new surgical procedures. Standard Management Level Responsibilities: 1. Directs and supervises assigned personnel including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Makes recommendations on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves grievances and other personnel problems within position responsibilities. All responsibilities are essential job functions. II.
