Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Video Post Producer to lead and manage high-end CGI and VFX projects from initial concept through final delivery. You will serve as the bridge between creative vision and technical execution, partnering with internal teams and external vendors to ensure high-quality output, accurate brand representation, and adherence to technical requirements. This role is critical during pre-production and production, collaborating closely with content producers to ensure a seamless transition into the post-pipeline. Once in post, you will be responsible for carrying through creative and marketing feedback, resolving timing concerns, and handling the review and release of complex, multi-platform deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Budget Management
- Lead post-production budgets, timelines, and key milestones across various video projects.
- Research, review, pitch, bid, and collaborate directly with external partners, including edit houses, music vendors, colorists, motion graphics animators, and VFX facilities.
- Partner with business affairs to relay vendor estimates and invoices for timely accounting and project wrap.
Workflow & Deliverables
- Track rounds of review for edit and finishing processes between internal creative teams and global post partners across various time zones.
- Create and maintain detailed deliverable trackers, cross-checking needs against Asset Checklists to ensure delivery of all lengths, cutdowns, ratios, and versions.
- Track copy changes on supers and manage the schedule for finalizing on-screen text.
- Maintain organized video files and corresponding paperwork on internal servers throughout the project lifecycle.
Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure strict Quality Control (QC) guidelines and style guides are adhered to before final assets are delivered.
- Source and license music, stock footage, and voiceover, clearing all contracts through legal and business affairs.
- Manage usage increments for Out-of-Home (OOH) purposes and other specialized platforms.
- Oversee the final release of all video assets in coordination with project management and marketing teams.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of video post-production and advertising agency experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the development and delivery of social and digital assets across robust, video-focused campaigns.
- Format Expertise: Deep knowledge of digital file formats and their best-practice applications.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional time management with the ability to set priorities, adapt to creative revisions, and meet critical due dates.
- Communication: Proven interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably liaise between creative teams, project managers, and external vendors.
- Tools: Hands-on experience working with calendars, Keynote, Slack, and organizational software.
