Position Summary

The Research Associate will provide critical support to the Principal Investigator (PI), Co-Principal Investigator (CPI), and Senior Project Manager across multiple research projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, independent judgment, and the ability to manage complex tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include participant recruitment, data management and analysis, and oversight of research platforms such as SurveyMonkey, Dedoose, and REDCap.

The Research Associate will ensure seamless project operations, maintain effective communication with participants, and contribute to program sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate research activities, including participant recruitment, screening, and consent management in compliance with institutional guidelines.
• Manage data collection and analysis using SurveyMonkey, Dedoose, and REDCap.
• Prepare manuscripts, abstracts, and grant proposals; develop presentations and reports for funding agencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and source materials for clinical trials.
• Support administrative tasks and resolve issues proactively.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing shifting priorities.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Professional interpersonal skills for engaging diverse individuals and teams.

Qualifications

• MPH preferred; postdoctoral candidates encouraged to apply.
• 3-5+ years of experience in clinical research coordination.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, protocol oversight, and IRB processes.
• 2-5+ years of community engagement experience across multiple settings.
