Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), provides for personal care and emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of an RN. Provides secretarial functions as needed for unit to function.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalency required. Active Nebraska Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required. OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS: Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required. Bryan Health recognizes American Heart Association (for healthcare professionals), American Red Cross (for healthcare professionals) and the Military Training Network. | |
