As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring access control and conducting routine patrols at a logistics and distribution location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a logistics and distribution environment.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for logistics and distribution settings.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and report any irregularities.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist with visitor and/or contractor management by verifying identification and maintaining accurate logs as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel, providing information and assistance as needed.
• Support the implementation of site-specific security-related policies and procedures to help to deter loss and maintain operational integrity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
