The Role:

We are looking for our next Maintenance Reliability Engineer within our Maintenance Team. The Maintenance Reliability Engineer will be responsible for providing Maintenance Reliability support for rotating and fixed equipment. This role is the Reliability and MIQA focal point for the site. The Reliability/MIQA Engineer is responsible to develop the production and maintenance resources so that they can operate and restore the equipment to achieve optimum total life cycle costs within current process design to enable the organization to deliver on current production expectations.

This position is located in Plaquemine Louisiana.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $99,000- $134,000. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You'll Do:

  • MIQA program owner: Manage all compliance inspections (PSV's, vessels, piping, etc)
  • SAP Master Data user
  • Works with Maintenance Manager to control maintenance budget
  • Maintenance focal point for projects
  • Work with team to drives EH&S performance
  • Identification, Design, and Implementation of facility and equipment upgrades
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of recurring reliability issues
  • Coordination of Predictive Maintenance activities
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of plant shutdown maintenance repairs including direct supervision of contract maintenance crews
  • Assist in the identification and tracking of plant critical spare parts
  • Assist in revision and development of written mechanical maintenance procedures
  • Assist in the analysis and improvement of site precision maintenance techniques
  • Lead and participate on reliability improvement teams
  • Perform job duties in a manner that follow food safety and quality guidelines including but not limited to HACCP, GMPs, QA Policies, Sanitation, and Pest Control.
  • Root cause analysis

What You'll Need:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years Maintenance experience with rotating and fixed equipment.
  • Root Cause Investigation process knowledge
  • Knowledge of pipe specs, P&ID's, and paint specs
  • Prior experience with SAP / Maintenance Management Software preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to speak or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; work in hot, cold and loud environments. Employee must be able to wear an escape respirator.

Position Type

  • This is a full-time position. Days and flexible hours of work are required to meet facility demands.
  • 9/80 work schedule

Business Travel:

  • Ability to travel on occasion (minimal)
