| Position Summary |
The FinTech & AI Certificate Program Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and industry partners involved in both the FinTech Certificate and AI Certificate Program. This role provides academic advising to current and prospective students, guiding them through program requirements, course prerequisites, and application procedures. The coordinator is responsible for communicating application outcomes and program approvals, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements from
UGA and
USG. Additionally, the coordinator facilitates 12-15 corporate-sponsored student projects each semester, supporting collaboration between students, faculty, and industry partners. The position also manages major annual events such as the Truist Immersive Learning experience and the
USG FinTech Academy Academic Summit, overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution. A key responsibility includes assisting more than 200 active students in securing required fintech internships prior to program completion by developing and maintaining relationships with corporate partners to expand internship opportunities. |

- Ability to demonstrate effective use of time management

Experiential Learning Project Coordination:
This work includes helping the instructors build the portfolio of experiential learning projects that are delivered in the two sections of
BUSN 3700. This also includes orientation of new business partners, administration of
NDA and Waiver of IP forms, collection of fees associated with industry participation in the program, and finally a semester ending QA process to assure all industry partners are satisfied with the student work. |

This role assists students with securing an internship that meets the academic requirements of the program. This employee helps students complete the application and approval process and assures the students understand the three deliverables associated with successful completion of the internship class for academic credit. |

FinTech & AI Student Applications Acceptance/Denial Process:
The Program Coordinator's responsibility is to help students with any questions, requirements and communications associated with the application through the admissions process for both the FinTech and AI Certificate. This includes managing the applications open and close windows, downloading the completed application files, and working with the certificate directors who make final admission decisions. The coordinator will be the point of contact for admission status for each application and send communications to both accepted and denied applicants once the decision is made. The program coordinator will also be the first point of contact for students with questions after admission decision are made. Both certificates will have admission windows in the spring and fall terms. |
