Senior Financial Controlling Specialist - Engineering

Job Objective:

Ensure the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of financial processes related to engineering activities, aligning operational goals with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct critical analysis of ER&D, focusing on operational efficiency and cost control.
  • Develop and monitor financial performance indicators (KPIs) for the engineering area.
  • Act as a bridge between controlling and technical teams, ensuring alignment between financial and operational goals.
  • Prepare financial projections, budgets, and forecasts, explaining variances and proposing corrective actions.
  • Participate in financial risk management, including risk and opportunities related to Financial Targets.
  • Oversee the monthly accounting closing, highlighting key drivers impacting results.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (CPC, IFRS).
  • Lead process improvements and automation initiatives, focusing on productivity and data reliability.
  • Provide Support to Technical Team related to Business Case evaluation and Profitability analysis on New Proposals.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting or related degree field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Solid experience in financial controlling with a focus on industrial costs and engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in tools such as advanced Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.
  • Advanced English is mandatory.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Certifications such as CFA, FP&A, CPA, or CMA
