NA Manufacturing Internal Logistics Automation Lead

The Internal Logistics Automation Lead is responsible for the strategy, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of automated material handling and logistics systems to ensure the efficient, accurate, and cost-effective flow of materials throughout the North America Manufacturing plants. The Internal Logistics Automation Lead is the operational link between the Industrial Logistics Engineering (ILE) Automation team and the Plant Methods organization. This individual will partner with Industrial Engineering to ensure maximum cost savings associated with production and indirect manpower. This individual is the subject matter expert regarding logistics automation. The Internal Logistics Automation Lead participates in and promotes lean Stellantis Production Way activities.

*Project Management for implementation of strategic vision for NA Logistics Internal Automation in non-new program launches

*Expert in applicable automation technology including: material handling equipment, automated guided vehicles, conveyors, powered industrial vehicles, robotics, automated storage and retrieval systems

*Benchmark industry standards and implementation of AI and Automation technologies

*Responsible for meeting or exceeding Key Process Indicators (KPI) associated with material automation

*Interacts with all levels of the organization including bargaining and non-bargaining, hourly and salary employees as well as executive leadership

Basic Qualifications

*Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field

*Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focused in production control, supply chain or material handling

*Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues as well as manage through all aspects of the daily business including escalation and communication as required

*Experience in setting strategic direction, leading and developing a department team

*Ability to demonstrate lean manufacturing knowledge and application

*Ability to implement, sustain and improve new or existing material flow processes and inventory control strategies

*Excellent oral and written communication skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications

*Master's Degree in related field

*Stellantis Production Way Logistics Pillar knowledge

*Experience Working in a Unionized Environment

*Ability to relocate
